With signing up the patricipants agree with the following rules and regulations.

1. Fairness: It is exspected of the participants to follow good sportmanship towards other participants and the volunteers. Grave misconduct can result in DQs and the banning from further races.

2. The races: The different races of the APM are run races taking place in an alpine setting. Only some of the route is sealed, most parts are loose gravel / trails. Participants are exspected to stay on course and follow directions of the volunteers. Cutting the course is bad sportsmanship and can result in an DQ.

No form of locomation other then running, walking and crawling is allowed. Aids other then running poles are illegal. If you choose to use poles you have to carry them from start to finish. You can not pick them up during the race or drop them anywhere. No equipment may be picked up or dropped during the race. Non-compliance can result in a DQ.

3. Outside support: A continous following / running alongside / cycling alongside a participant is illegal and can result in the DQ of the participant.

4. Drop-out: If you need to drop out, please inform an official / volunteer. Not doing so may result in an expensive rescue mission.

5. age groups: Age groups according to the DLV-rules (every 5 years).

6. race bibs / timing: The official bib number has to be worn clearly visible and unaltered on the front. The number has an integrated timing chip. Other timing chips can confuse the system and need to be taken off.

7. Finisher-Awards / Age group awards: Every finisher gets a finisher medal. The first of each age group get trophies. Tropies are handed out only at the awards ceremonies. They will not be shipped if not claimed.

8. Anti-Doping: Participants must follow anti doping rules. We also don´t like participants to use drugs not covered by Wada code. Namely pain killers.

9. Environment: The APM is taking place in a wonderful and clean mountain setting. We would like to keep it that way. Please try to keep your environmental impact as small as possible. Mainly: Don´t leave anything behind. Gel/bar wrappers, cups, bottles... please cary them out or drop them at the aid stations. Leaving trash behind is affecting how the public preceives our races and can cause problems in the future. Not complying can result in a DQ.

10. Course modifications / change: In extreme weather conditions we will modify the course. All participants have to follow directions and volunteers. Not doing so might result in a DQ.

11. Protest: Every participant can post an official protest against other competitors or against ruling of the organisers. It has to be done until 1 hour after finish cut off. A jury of 3 officials will deal with the protest until the awards. Witnesses, if relevant, have to be present at that time. Protest fee is €20 wich will be payed back if protest was sucessful.

12. Mandatory equipment Ultra: Participant have to cary from start to finish: Mobile phone (turned on), Rescue blanket, emergency whistle, some form of cup or bottle (no cups will be handed out at the Ultra). In very bad weather the organizers have the right to make a waterproof weather jacket mandatory.

13. Clothes drop and transport: Participants can drop a bag with clothes they wish to receive at the finish. We will transport that bag to the Wonnemar. Bags need to be labeled with the race numer (labels in your race bag). Please drop your bag at the right truck / bus / trailer at the start.

14. Bag transport Gasthof Hörnlepass / Ultra and Grasgehren / Hörnerlauf: Ultra paticipants can have bag transported to the Gasthof Hörnlepass. Please label your bag with your numer (2nd label available at registration). We will bring the bag back to the finish / Wonnemar.

Hörnerlauf participants can have a bag transported to their finish at Grasgehren (and not to the Wonnemar). Please label your bag with your race number.

Please be careful to drop the bag at the right bus / truck / trailer at the start!
